Description

Description of the product includes configuration updates to the E-2D Common Radar Simulation (CRS) for E-2D tactics, maintenance, and distributed training systems. Configuration updates include capability and fidelity updates. Relevant issues associated with this requirement are: schedule and performance risk due to the limited performance criteria of the radar. The effort will be performed in phases, each with a particular software deliverable particular to the specific E-2D training device. The phases will consist of developing a performance baseline, reducing data collected from the radar lab and aircraft test flights into performance criteria, designing models and interfaces, and eventual coding of required algorithms and interfaces for the training systems radar simulations. The estimated delivery date for the initial CRS delivery will be 31 August 2019.
