Description

Simplified Acquisition Procedures 'Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition' Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services wills atisfy Agency Requirements", the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard. The Procurement & Contracting Department intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Bell Harbor Conference Center for Rental of Pier Space and Event Center for the Commsissioning Ceremonies of a Coast Guard Cutter. The main objective is to have a pier space large enough to moor a 418' Coast Guard Cutter in the Seattle area that is adjacent to a facility that will accomodate a formal ceremony. The Notice of Intent Is Not a Request For Competitive Quotations. However, all responsible parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement will be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action is based upon responses received at the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to Deborah.S.Cefaratti@uscg.mil within 2 days of the published date of this notice
