- Description
- AFLCMC/HNAK is requesting information and potential sources to procure, integrate and test one (1) Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) Payload into one Global Hawk Block 20 platform and procure a BACN Payload Control Element (PCE). This effort includes the installation of the BACN A-Kit (antennas, radomes, cabling, provisions, and installation peripherals) and B-Kit (the removable BACN payload components). There is a separate contract action to maintain and operate these payloads in the current theater of operations supporting BACN missions. The Government does not have manufacturing drawings and does not currently have all the Data Rights for the BACN payload. Responsible sources may submit an unclassified response to this request via e-mail to shane.boulware.1@us.af.mil. Responses shall consist of no more than five (5) pages in size 12 font and include the following: Company Name Physical Address CAGE Code DUNS Number Point of Contact Phone number E-mail address Position Web Page URL (if any) Size of Business (NAICS Code 334419 Small Business standard is less than 750 employees) Small Business Classification (if any) Company Ownership - United States domestic entity Describe your experience and capability to procure, build, integrate and test payloads on the Global Hawk. Describe your typical contract type, terms, and conditions. Describe your experience and capability to establish a close working relationship with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) (Northrop Grumman) for necessary engineering support. In addition, provide responses to the items below: What is your experience in dealing with Global Hawk Aircraft? What is your experience in dealing with Air Force Airworthiness authority? Describe your ability, approach and schedule to build and integrate and test the BACN Payload. Provide historic statistical data on your performance in meeting schedule and cost estimates Submit your response as directed above. No other communications will be considered. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request for information and potential sources or to otherwise pay for any information provided except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and Proposal Costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This Request for Information and potential sources is for the purpose of market survey and acquisition strategy development. All responses to this request will be treated as information only and not as proposals. This request does not commit the Government to any further acquisition actions.
