Description
SF1149, PWS, and Instruction The USMS has a requirement for one (1) dry lease 2009 or newer brand name Beech Craft King Air 350 (King Air 350) with wing locker extended fuel tanks, cargo door, Garmin G-1000 Avionics Suite or Rockwell Collings Pro Line 21 Class Panel Avionics for exclusive use by the USMS. The Contractor shall provide all requisite maintenance to include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance necessary for the King Air 350 to remain in a ready and available airworthy state. The Contractor shall provide a thorough and detailed inspection, maintenance, and logistics plan(See section 5) that accounts for all the requisite inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events with the King Air 350, and the logistics to ensure that the King Air 350 maintains an airworthy and ready state. The Contractor's maintenance and logistics plan shall inspire confidence and assurance that the Contractor's proposed King Air 350 will meet its Operational Readiness (OR) annual goal of 85%. The Contractor shall outfit, as defined in this PWS, the King Air 350 so that it may be equipped with all the necessary Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) equipment [to include external antenna arrays, cabling, and other industry common ISR equipment as specified by the USMS(as identified in section 3)] that will be required to be installed in the King Air 350. The Contractor's proposal shall describe in detail the proposed configuration of all required ISR equipment to be installed in the King Air 350 and whether such proposed configuration has any benefits to the interoperability of the ISR equipment. Aircraft utilization is estimated to be 500 flight hours annually for the duration of the lease. However, this is an estimate and based upon mission needs and/or requirements, actual annual aircraft utilization may vary. For scheduled maintenance planning purposes, the aircraft is estimated to perform approximately 25 landing gear cycles per month. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all regular and recurring inspections and logistics to ensure the continued air worthiness and availability of the aircraft.
