- FA8604-17-Q-5036 RFQ Attachment 3 - Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders FA8604-17-Q-5036 RFQ Attachment 1 - Offeror Representations and Certifications FA8604-17-Q-5036 RFQ Attachment 2 - Contract Terms and Conditions Subscription to Electronic Databases DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FAR Part 13 procedures are being utilized. The Government reserves the right to award without discussion. • The solicitation document, FA8604-17-Q-5036, is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89: • The associated NAICS code is 519130; small business size standard is: 500. • This RFQ utilizes a Brand Name or Equal product description, but does not require the particular brand name product listed below. A general description of the brand name product and salient functional characteristics that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award are identified below. In accordance with FAR 11.104 the brand name, a general description of this requirement is being utilized to relay the AFRL requirement to potential offerors only. Offerors are encouraged to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name below. • This requirement is for the following commercial supply: CLIN Item Description LOT 0001 Subscription to electronic 1 databases Electronic access to the subscription shall be provided for the period of 01 January 2017 - 31 December 2017. 1001 Subscription to electronic 1 databases Electronic access to the subscription shall be provided for the period of 01 January 2018 - 31 December 2018. 2001 Subscription to electronic 1 databases Electronic access to the subscription shall be provided for the period of 01 January 2019 - 31 December 2019. 3001 Subscription to electronic 1 databases Electronic access to the subscription shall be provided for the period of 01 January 2020 - 31 December 2020. 4001 Subscription to electronic 1 databases Electronic access to the subscription shall be provided for the period of 01 January 2021 - 31 December 2021. Requirement Description Knovel's collection of over 3,600 leading reference works and databases from over 90 international publishers and professional societies covers subjects such as material properties, process and design information, best practices, equations and formulations, and more. Users can search text and interactive data, including equations, tables and graphs. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order is anticipated. The subscription shall be provided for the period of 01 January 2017 - 31 December 2021.
