- Description
- The intent of this contract is to provide all labor, supervision, materials and equipment to open a time capsule, to include ground-penetrating radar scan, opening a brick/block wall with gypsum-board furring, removal of existing document box (time capsule) for public inspection, closing/refinishing/painting the wall, as well as any and all additional and associated work required, //at the McNamara Federal Building in Detroit, Michigan. The total performance period for this requirement is 60 calendar days. The estimated range for this project is below $25,000.00. The procurement is set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction), with a size standard of $36.5 million. This is a negotiated procurement. All responsible small business concerns may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on price and price alone. The solicitation will be available on or about December 1, 2016 (the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation). A pre-proposal conference will be conducted before the proposal due date (actual date will be contained in the solicitation). The solicitation will be available for download through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: www.fbo.gov. All interested vendors must register with FBO in order to view sensitive but unclassified information, and this registration requires that the following information be completed or provided: (1) An active System for Award Management (SAM) account, (2) Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) Number. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation, and for monitoring FBO for amendments and/or additional information.
