- Conference Room and Kitchen Upgrade in Administration Building at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Keystone, South Dakota. Project includes upgrading the conference/training room. Work consists of cutting a channel in the concrete floor and installing wiring/cabling and floor boxes; replacing carpet and cove base, patching and painting interior walls and ceilings; replacing light fixtures; miscellaneous electrical work and cleaning fireplace brick. In addition, there are three additives: 1) Upgrade Kitchen Area ¿ work consists of painting walls and ceilings; replacing light fixtures; installing VCT flooring and cove base. 2) Upgrade Four (4) Fan Coils ¿ work consists of replacing four fan coils in the basement of the Administration Building per the specifications. 3) Supply and Install Shades ¿ four (4) black out and sun blocking shades in the conference/training room and two (2) sun blocking shades in the kitchen. The contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, supervision and other items necessary to complete the project as specified. This project is set-aside 100% for Small Business. NAICS Codes: 236220, Size Standard: $36.5 million, PSC: Z2AA. The anticipated magnitude of the project, including additives, is between $100,000 and $250,000. Payment protection is required for all awards over $35,000 and less than $150,000. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for Pennington County, South Dakota shall apply. The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Nekota Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation as a Request for Proposals (RFP) that will result in a firm-fixed price construction contract. The official solicitation package and its attachments will be issued on or about November 17, 2016 and posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. Applicable site visit details will be provided with the solicitation documents. No hardcopies or email copies will be provided. Offerors must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications in SAM, in order to be eligible for award.
