- Estimated issue date November 15, 2016 and estimated closing/response date December 15, 2016 Purchase Request#: FD2030-17-00311 RFP#: SPRTA1-17-R-0075 Nomenclature/Noun : Pressure Switch for the E-3 Aircraft, NSN 5930-01-591-2731AW, with Part Number PESK-7188. Alternate NSN 5930-01-034-0076AW and Part Number 10-60747-15 will be considered. The quantity on Line Item 0001 is for a maximum of 11. AMC: 4R History: There is no historical award. Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Length 5.5000 inches, Height 3.2500 inches, Width 3.2500 inches, Weight 1.5000 (LB). Item Function: Mach Air speed switch, calibrated to alert the crew to aircraft max speed vs altitude. Currently GE Aviation Systems LLC (Cage 35351) is the only known sources that can satisfy the Government requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: GE Aviation Systems LLC (Cage 35351). NOTE: NEW/UNUSED AND OVERHAULED GOVERNMENT SURPLUS AND COMMERCIAL SURPLUS will be considered for the following NSNs and Part Numbers. The following are the surplus 5930-01-068-5592 with part number 10-60747-3 and 1680-01-127-5251 with part number 10-60747-6. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process.
