- General Information: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Campbell, Kentucky anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), Fort Campbell to provide preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement and/or related services. This could cover in-bound moves, out-bound moves, local within the area moves, and retirements to Fort Campbell areas moves. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, except as specified herein as government-furnished, for the preparation of the personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the LRC at Fort Campbell, KY. This is a total small business set-aside and this requirement will be restricted to small business firms. This action will be conducted as a Service acquisition in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 15, Contracting by Negotiation and Parts 37, Service Contracting. The Government intends to award one (1) Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract with a 12-month base period, and two (2) 12-month option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991 Packing and crating, with a size standard of $27.5M. Place of Performance: Packing and crating will be performed within Fort Campbell, KY (KY-TN) areas moves. Release Date: The anticipated posting date of the RFP is on or around November 14,2016. Upon release to the public, the RFP will be available at Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFP will specify the date and time for proposal receipt.
