The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following question: 1.Vendor Question: In the event new OEM repair parts are no longer available particularly for devices which are no longer in production, what allowances does the Government make for discontinued OEM replacement parts? Government Answer: If original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts are not available for devices no longer in production, vendor should attempt to give VA a comparable part number, if available. Otherwise, vendor should report no replacement parts (OEM or comparable) are available and VA would process the device for turn-in through its Logistics Service. 2.All other terms and conditions remain the same.
