- Amended Statement of Work Amendment 1 SF-30 See the attached documents for complete details. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations, ship Nancy Foster, located at 1050 Register Street, North Charleston, SC, requires the overhaul of its No. 3 Ships Service Diesel Generator Set (SSDG) in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. All work must be performed by an authorized repair facility of the engine manufacturer or under the direct on-site supervision of a factory trained mechanic currently certified by the engine manufacturer, and shall be performed in such a manner that the manufacturer's warranty on parts and labor is not voided. The period of performance shall be November 14, 2016 - December 4, 2016. An on-site inspection will take place at 13:00 on Octoober 19, 2016 at the FLETC Center Facility located at 1050 Register Street, North Charleston, SC. Contractors without FLETC access or CAC cards must submit a list of names of potential visitors to Mr. Tim Langdon ASAP in order to gain access to the facility. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 4:00 P.M. EST on October 27, 2016; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on past performance and price. Past Performance is more important than price. Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to alexander.cooper@noaa.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to alexander.cooper@noaa.gov by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on October 25, 2016. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. The anticipated award date is on or about November 1, 2016. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/.
