The resulting FTF/Mozambique program objective is to increase equitable growth in the agriculture sector and to improve the nutritional status of Mozambicans in focus provinces. The Contractor will increase agricultural productivity and expand agricultural markets and trade in the 26 districts of the Feed the Future Zone of Influence (FTF ZOI). To accomplish this, the Contractor will provide technical services in order to increase the competitiveness of selected value chains, expand the number of enterprises that can compete and upgrade their products and services in selected markets, and improve relationships and linkages between those firms and other market participants throughout the value chain. Project activities are expected to produce a "ripple effect" of continual upgrading in the private sector through spontaneous replication and investment which will lead to the sustainable reduction of poverty and hunger. Subject to availability of funds, USAID/Mozambique plans to award one Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Term contract as a result of the solicitation for an estimated period of five (5) years. The total estimated value of the award is $20 million to $22 million.
