- The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to perform dockside repairs of the USCGC STRATTON (WMSL 752), a 418 foot National Security Cutter home ported at Coast Guard Island, Alameda CA. The planned period of performance will be on or about April 3, 2017 to July 7, 2017. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for award. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine the method of procurement including whether to set-aside the procurement for small business or other set-aside programs. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Cutter's home port on Coast Guard Island, Alameda CA. GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION - None SAMPLING OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Fuel Oil Manifold Valve Overhaul; Galley Grease Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect and Test; Gas Turbine Module Fixed CO2 Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect and Test; Heptafluoropropane (HFP) Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect and Test; Water Mist Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect; Forward and Aft Capstans, Annual Maintenance, Perform; Dual Point Davit,Biennial Maintenance, Perform; Folding Boom Cranes, Biennial Maintenance, Perform; Oily Water Separator System, Groom; Flight Deck Net, Weight Testing; Flight Deck Safety Nets, Renew; Tanks (Water Mist), Preserve "100%"; Tanks (Water Mist), Preserve "Partial"; Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier; Deck Covering (Polymeric), Repair and Seal; Surfaces, Preserve; Steering Gear Hydraulic System, Flush; Deck Covering (Slip-Resistant), Renew; Flex Hose Assemblies, Renew; Auxiliary Seawater Piping, Modify; Laundry Electrical Circuits, Modify; Intake Ventilation, Modify.
