Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Ft. Belvoir, 9410 Jackson Loop, Suite 101, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060, intends to award a Sole Source Contract to Barbizon Lighting Co., 6437-G General Green Way, Alexandria, VA 22312, for dimmer hardware and software upgrades, lighting control console upgrade, and conversion to digital multiplexing (DMX) lighting protocol in Conmy Hall located at Fort Myer, VA. The period of performance for this action is 120 days. This Sole Source procurement is pursuant to FAR 13.501(a)(2)(i). The applicable North American Classification Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 335129 "Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing". This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If you feel your firm can provide these services, please submit a capabilities statement by 12:00 PM EST, 23 September 2016. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
