This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (UTV). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Department of Veteran Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking qualified sources to provide (see below). Salient characteristics include (see below) (brand name or equal). The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified Service Disabled Veterans Owned, and Veterans Owned Small Businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 336999. The Small Business Size Standard is 1M. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the response(s) provided. Compared to other carts in its class, this model seats an average number of people but is smaller in size. The cart has a peak power output of 14 horsepower, 22% more than the average utility vehicle. However, despite the above average horsepower, the model's top speed is only average compared to the rest in its class. The Carryall 550 (Gas) has a minimum turning circle of 10.54 feet, allowing it to turn 0 feet tighter than the utility vehicle average. The base price for the 550 Gas us less expensive than the class average. The Carryall 550 (Gas) is not street legal.
