Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for contractual services to administer its qualified parking or "Pre-Tax Qualified Parking" program for its employees under NAICS 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services, for a period of five years. The anticipated award date is 30 September 2016. USPTO is exempt from the Competition in Contracting Act under the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A) and the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method as described in the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG). In accordance with the PTAG, the USPTO publicized this requirement on 28 April 2016 through a Sources Sought notice [PROC1600244]and the results indicate that only a limited number of vendors are most likely to successfully meet the agency's needs. As a result, the solicitation will only be issued to the limited number of qualified vendors.
