- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The FSC code is 6830 and the NAICS code is 333912. The Government is soliciting price quotes for the purchase of Respiratory Protection Equipment. The Government will award a contract resulting from this request for quote to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer. The Government intends to evaluate multiple award opportunities with the possibility of awarding a single contract or to award multiple contracts under this solicitation. This is œBrand Name Only procurement. The referenced brand name is intended to be restrictive. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics must be met in order for a Brand Name item to be acceptable for award by the Government.
