Description

Combined Synopsis Solicitation 4246258 The purpose of this purchase is to support equipment used by Lab of Genetics personnel. This phosphorimager is crucial to work performed by the Lab of Genetics for analysis of radioactive experiments. The current phosphorimager is old and has reached its end of life (August 2016) where it will no longer be supported by the service team. This equipment is essential to the continued research of the Lab of Genetics. the Phosphorimager allows experiments using radioactivity to be analyzed by safely scanning dried gels or membranes to analyze and quantitate the radioactive samples. The current phophorimager is quite old and will no longer be supported for parts and service by the manufacturer after August 2016.
