Description
In addition to posting responses/offers to FBO, kindly forward a copy to CPT Robert Mayhue at robert.w.mayhue2.mil@mail.mil MS Army National Guard requires a UTV with specific accessories: The UTV is imperative for several projects including but not limited to: prescribed fire operations, surveys and treatment of non-native vegetation, and flora/fauna surveys. In order to accomplish these tasks, the UTV needs to have at minimum: 1) 875 cc engine 2) fuel injection 3) hydraulic disc brakes 4) tires need to be 25 x 10-12 on the front, 25 x 11-12 5) at least 12'' ground clearance 6) 4x4 7) 3 person capacity 8) 1,500 lb payload 9) roof and Windshield 10) rack/tool holder 11) heavy duty A-arm guards (stick stoppers),skid plates, brush guard We need this utv to be capable of hauling a 100 gallon suppression spray rig on prescribed fires as well as haul at least 3 fire crew members. This UTV will be operated almost entirely off road and 4x4 is needed in loose conditions particularly when hauling a loaded tank. Hydraulic disc brakes make stopping the loaded UTV much safer than the older cable systems. Cabled brakes do not provide the stopping power needed when hauling either a spray rig for vegetation or a suppression tank for fire. The rack is needed to keep sharp edged fire line cutting tools properly stowed when traversing unstable/rough terrain. The heavy duty A-arm guards (front and back), skid plates and brush guard will improve the life of axles(cv boots), floorboards, and front bumpers. The windshield, doors, and roof will protect driver and or passengers from the elements as well as falling debris. Must have a minimum 4500 lb wench and harness. A minimum 60 gallon boomless sprayer and a lock and ride bed extender.
