- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DLA Troop Support Pacific Reference Number DLATSP-16-SS-0011 CLASS VIII; MEDICAL I-STAT CARTRIDGE DELIVERIES TO THE UNITED STATES NAVAL HOSPITAL, CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, JAPAN DLA Troop Support Pacific Location: Okinawa, Japan The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Pacific is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify local sources capable and interested in fulfilling a requirement for the procurement and delivery of CLASS VIII, Medical supplies, materials and equipment items in support of United States Naval Hospital (USNH), located in Okinawa, Japan. The Contractor shall provide i-STAT Test Cartridges to aid in the quick screening and quantification of Blood Urea Nitrogen, Creatinine, Hematocrit, Hemoglobin and Lactate analysis at the bedside. Government owned I-Stat analyzers are currently in use at the USNH. Therefore, any vendor/dealer who is capable of delivering compatible CG4+(72EACH), CG8+(36EACH) and CHEM 8+ (36EACH) Cartridges for use with the existing i-STAT Portable analyzers to the USNH in a timely manner will be reviewed and eligible for award consideration. The Government is considering soliciting using North American Industry Classification System ( NAICS) code 423450; Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in the merchant wholesale distribution of professional medical equipment, instruments, and supplies (except ophthalmic equipment and instruments and goods used by ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians). Illustrative Examples: Dental equipment and supplies merchant wholesalers Medical dressings merchant wholesalers Electromedical equipment merchant wholesalers Patient monitoring equipment merchant wholesalers Hospital beds merchant wholesalers Prosthetic appliance and supplies merchant wholesalers Hospital furniture merchant wholesalers Surgical instrument and apparatus merchant wholesalers Medical and dental X-ray machine merchant wholesalers DLA Troop Support Pacific contemplates a Firm-Fixed Priced contract with a single line item with a designated quantity for a period of 12 months. All interested sources who consider themselves qualified and capable in providing the medical supplies described within this Notice are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice via email to Ayako.Nakagawa.jpn@DLA.mil and Khristina.Matthews-Sandoval@DLA.mil. Responses shall be received no later than 1:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
