- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Contracting Division (NCD) in support of the Program Manager - Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA) - intends to award a cost (no fee) contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-5 (b)(6) to Vysnova Partners, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, located at 1901 Research Blvd #502, Rockville, MD 20850. Vysnova Partners, Inc. is the only known SDVOSB that will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for (1) the development of an electronic system that provides bi-directional tracking and recall of implanted medical devices (referred to herein as Implant Tissue Tracking Technology) and (2) implementation of Implant Tissue Tracking Technology (IT3) into Air Force Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and requires: • A qualified systems integrator experienced in medical entity tracking provide guidance to a cloud-based tracking OEM during transition into one or more Air Force MTFs. • Procurement and installation of a cloud-based IT3 system. • Publication of findings and reports of the prototype outcomes. Vysnova Partners, Inc. is the only known SDVOSB source with the relevant medical entity tracking and MTF experience that meets or exceeds the required specification and no other source is capable of supplying these items. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available. Responsible SDVOSB sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency, to the Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground CCAP-SCN, Natick Contracting Division via e-mail ONLY to jeremiah.j.couch.ctr@mail.mil, no later than the closing date of this synopsis. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
