Description

The 700th Contracting Squadron, Kapaun, AB, Germany intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to J.G.W International (CAGE 1C8B0) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government's requirement is the PlumeSim upgrade to our existing M4 Joint Chemical Agent Detector simulators. The PlumeSim upgrade is produced by Argon Electronics, but the sole U.S. distributor is J.G.W. International. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency if received before 12pm, 9 September 2016. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
