Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 16), Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), North Little Rock, AR in accordance with FAR 8.405-6, limiting sources, intends to award a firm-fixed price, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Beckman Coulter, Inc., 200 S. Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA 92822, for the continued usage of contractor-owned equipment currently at V16 sites under an expiring CPRR (cost-per-reportable result) BPA. This bridge BPA will be for the period of October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 and will allow uninterrupted urinalysis testing by lab personnel until a new, competitive long-term agreement is awarded. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must be received no later than 3:00pm central time on September 7, 2016. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses must be directed to the Contracting Officer, Sheila Reed at Sheila.reed@va.gov. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instruments Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
