Description

The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Alere North America, Incorporated, PO Box 846153, Boston, Massachusetts, 02284-6153, for supplies needed to operate the Alere Biosite Triage Meter for the Laboratory and Emergency Room Departments at the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, Lame Deer, Montana. Alere North America, Incorporated, is the only distributor to provide supplies that are compatible with the current equipment. The procurement will be conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures; 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; and FAR 37.101, Non Personal Service Contract. The IHS anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order for the period October 1, 2016, through September 30, 2017. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
