Description
This office will issue a Request for Quote for the Outside Maintenance Facility Gate Rehabilitation at the Fort Randall Project Office, Pickstown, SD. Quotes will be due on or about 20 September 2016. This solicitation is set aside for small business participation only under the NAICS Code 238990 with a size standard of $15 Million. The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Description: Provide all labor, equipment, supplies and materials to remove and replace an existing cantilevered gate and a section of chain link fence at the Fort Randall Project. The gate shall be actuated by a powered operator which shall be located on a proposed concrete foundation. To activate the gate, the contractor will be required to supply and install activation pedestals. To provide for secure, controlled access to this facility the contractor shall also supply and install a door controller that will tie the activation pedestals and gate operator into the existing Fort Randall security system. This project will require several conduits to be installed via open trench, while also requiring one stretch of conduit to be directionally drilled under an existing driveway. In addition, a parking lot light will be removed and new LED lights will be installed in order to illuminate an existing flag pole. A site visit date and time is 13 September 2016 at 1:00 pm Central. DO NOT submit requests for plans and specifications to the site visit personnel listed above. See Obtaining Solicitation Documents below. Project Description: (Approx. quantities) The estimated construction cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work by 01 June 2017. Payment bonds will be required. Bonding documents including the power of attorney shall bear an original signature by an officer of the surety. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to SAM.
