Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Gravotech Inc, 2200 Northmont Parkway, Duluth, GA 30096. The proposed contract action is for the following: (1)ea MEPB IS Control Box LT (p/n:47971), (1)ea XP Remote Control (p/n: 23669), and (1)ea 11/64 Rotary Spindle Assembly (p/n: 20471). The purchase of the items is only possible through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Gravotech Inc., as the equipment and all parts are proprietary. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 334111 and the applicable business size is 1,250 employees. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by Tuesday, 06 September 2016, 4:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, via email only to: rubeli.deinla@navy.mil. If no responses are received, FLCSD will proceed with the sole source award.
