- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (8[a], HUBZONE, SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The Government is seeking, for informational purposes only a contractor to furnish all management, supervision, personnel equipment, transpotation for the management and possible installation of License Plate Scanners. Please send information to Danny Howell at danny.howell.3@us.af.mil or call 609-754-4730. Note changes in Sources Sought: Response date has been extended to 31 August 2016 at 1300 (1:00 pm) est. Operating system must provide a charging system with a standard battery pack that allows scheduled or timed power which allows the unit to operate during power outages. The unit must allow for license plate recognition as well as facial recognition to provide real time connectivity and access to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). Installation will also be needed.
