Description

Sole Source Notice of Intent Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Hudson Valley Hospital Center, 1980 Crompond Rd, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567. This is under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253 (c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed procurement is for Performing STAT Laboratory Tests during WHEN (weekends, holidays, evenings, nights) hours support for VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, 2094 Albany Post, Montrose, NY 10548-1454. This agreement will be a firm fixed price contract. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 622110 and the size standard is $38.5 Million. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
