Amendment 0001 Statement of Requirements (SOR) John Martin Dam Rip Rap 1.0 General: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, is in need of 2,400 tons of granite riprap, per the requirements listed below. The delivery location below is in Hasty, Colorado for the John Martin Lake Project. 1.1 Description of Requirements: The 2,400 tons of Riprap must meet the following minimum requirements. • Quantity: o 800 tons Granite rip rap ranging in size from 9" to 22" o 800 tons Granite rip rap ranging in size from 18" to 24" o 800 tons Granite rip rap ranging in size from 24" to 36" • Quality: o Freeze-Thaw Durability: Rip rap shall have a percent loss of no more than 0.1% as measured by ASTM D5312-12 o Soundness: Rip rap shall have a percent loss of no more than 0.5% as measured by ASTM D5240 o Rip rap rock type, durability, and soundness shall be shown in test reports from the source quarry dated no more than 1 year prior to contract award date; test reports must be approved by the Operations POC prior to purchase and delivery of rip rap. 1.2 Delivery Location: 2,400 tons of granite rip rap shall be delivered to the location listed below, and as directed by the John Martin Maintenance Supervisor. Rip Rap shall be stockpiled such that it can be moved safely by site personnel with available equipment; coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor on this requirement. Latitude: 38° 3'17.11"N, Longitude: 102°56'5.95"W (See image of location below). 1.3 Delivery Time: Riprap shall be delivered within 45 calendar days of date of contract award. 1.4 Submittals: Riprap quality testing reports as described in Section 1.1 shall be submitted for each material gradation with the offeror's bid.
