Description

Sole Source Justification SCANX SCOUT X-RAY SCANNER AND FLEX RAY KIT. The solicitation number is FA8601-16-P-0251. The NAICS Code is 334519. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Scanna MSC Inc., Sarasota Florida. The purchase is for one ScanX Scout X-Ray Scanner with battery supplied, image plates (PSP), laptop with imaging software and including FleX-Ray Kit 2X2 (4 Cassettes). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to Amanda.cafarella@us.af.mil no later than 10:00AM EST 29 Aug 2016. Only proposals received by this date will be considered.
