Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for High Pressure Water Pump. Specification Flow Rate= 75gpm Pressure = 1200 psi Fluid = Deionized Water Temp. = Amb. Quantity = supply (2) ~ 37.5 gpm pumps that can be run independently Expected delivery time = 4 to 5 weeks ARO Flushing = both pumps shall have the flushing options Material = Plungers to be ceramic, die-cast aluminum crank case stainless steel valves, chrome-moly crankshaft with oversized bearings. Wetted parts to be compatible with Deionized water Motor = 40hp, 3 ph, 208-230/460V, 1775 rpm Base = powder coated epoxy Main Regulator = 316ss with 500 - 2,000 psi operating range. Relief valve = 300 - 1500 psi range Pressure gage = 0- 3000 psi (1 per pump) Pulse damper = Stainless Steel and pre-charged with nitrogen. ADDITIONAL IMFORMATION: The primary fluid being pumped needs to come in the pump inlet port, go through the inlet valve, come in contact with the high pressure seal only and be discharged through the discharge valve. Through special ports in the inlet manifold a small amount of a secondary liquid, needs to pass between the high pressure seals and low pressure seals. The flushing liquid is typically pumped at a minimum of 5 GPH up to 1 GPM depending on pump size and pumped liquid characteristics at a nominal 5 PSI. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-89 OBTAINED FROM http://nais.nasa.gov/far/. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 333911 / 750 respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA GLENN RESEARCH CENTER, 21000 BROOKPARK ROAD, CLEVELAND OHIO 44135-3127 is required. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing (e-mail) to dorothy.e.viancourt@nasa.gov not later than noon on 8/25/16. Telephone questions will not be accepted Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 4:30 pm on Tuesday 8/30/16 to buyer dorothy.e.viancourt@nasa.gov NASA Glenn Research Center, and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. FAR 52.212-4 (DEC 2014), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. Other critical requirements shall also be considered will be a review of all specifications requested and submitted. It is critical that offerors provide adequate detail to allow evaluation of their offer. (SEE FAR 52.212-1(b)). Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3 (MAR 2015), Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer.
