Description
This is a non-personal services contract to provide Post Wide Rigging services to Fort Jackson, SC. The contractor shall provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, transportation, traffic control, general and specialized equipment and clothing required to perform all work in connection with the inspections, testing, removing, maintenance, repair, removal and the installation of ropes, nets, and safety equipment on obstacle courses, training towers, and the Army Fitness Center, as required. And, the construction and maintenance of obstacles at the Confidence Obstacle Course (COC) and the Army Fitness School, as required. All equipment used by the contractor must meet all applicable OSHA rules, regulations, standards; and be verified by a representative from the Fort Jackson Installation Safety Center, for example "Cranes." The government representative from the United States Army Garrison/DPTMS/Range Operations will purchase and furnish all materials and supplies. These services shall be performed in accordance with the specifications and schedule of work. Every six months the contractor will inspect, test, remove, replace/install, repair, and maintain items to "Standard" on the following Obstacles on Fort Jackson, South Carolina to prescribed standard IAW TRADOC Pam 350-1, Engineer Drawing DEF 028-13-95, Obstacle Course Layout Plan, FM 21-20, and TRADOC Regulation 350 -6. Specific standards are contained in Technical Exhibits.
