Project Description: This project involves replacing the generator and station service Potential Transformers (PTs) and the Current Transformers (CTs) at multiple power plants. The PTs and CTs are types of instrument transformers used to transform otherwise dangerous inputs from the power train and make the signals safe for use in the protection circuits and metering circuits in the station control boards. The PTs and CTs are connected to the generators, jack bus, and station service equipment. The work at Fort Peck includes Plant 1 Current Transformers: Generator (3 Units) Install 3 new CT's per unit. CT's are to be metering class, 1000/5A, (Donut or Bar Type), Leave existing CT's connected to relaying equipment. Potential Transformers: Generator (3 Units) Replace 3 Metering PT's per unit. PT's are to be metering class, 7960/66.4V. PT's are located in cabinets. Exciter (3 Units) Replace 3 Metering PT's per unit. PT's are to be metering class, 7960/66.4V. PT's are located in cabinets. Plant 2 Current Transformers: Generator (2 Units) Replace 3 Metering CT's per unit. CT's are to be metering class, 2500/5A, (Donut or Bar Type. Potential Transformers: Generator (2 Units) Replace 2 Metering PT's per unit. PT's are to be metering class, 14400/120V. PT's are located in drawers. Exciter (2 Units) Replace 2 Metering PT's per unit. PT's are to be metering class, 14400/120V. PT's are located in drawers. Service Station Current Transformers: Replace 6 Metering CT's CT's are to be metering class, 300/5A, (Donut or Bar Type.
