Description
SOURCES SOUGHT The Pennsylvania National Guard (PANG) United States Property Fiscal Office (USPFO) Purchasing and Contracting (P&C) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in providing a VHF LOW POWER TRANSMITTER. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334220 Size Standard 750 Employees. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The Government will not entertain any quotes or proposals The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide a VHF Low Power Transmitter for the purpose of powering and transmitting an Army Airfield's Automatic Terminal Information Service (ATIS). ATIS is a continuous broadcast of recorded aeronautical information containing essential information, such as weather information, active runways, available approaches, Notices to Airman (NOTAM), and any other information required by the pilots for safe flight in congested airspace. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, FURTHER SET-ASIDE UNDER AN SBA SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAM, OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
