Description
he U.S. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Inventive Medical Limited, 3109 Limita Blvd, Torrance, CA, 90505 for a Bronchoscopy Training Device. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. However, this notice does function as a Request for Information (RFI) or Sources Sought for offeror's who believe they can meet the Government's requirement. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requirement: Bronchoscopy Training Devices shall contain the following: Be portable enough to transport on a commercial aircraft as a carry-on bag Include a realistic fully functional simulated bronchoscopy and display monitor Include a realistic simulated insertion tube used for simulating a bronchoscopy intubation into an airway Include a three-dimensional display of a simulated upper and lower airway and realistically display responses to the user's bronchoscopy movements during the bronchoscopy intubation process Include upper and lower airway and pathology training scenarios Be capable of providing instant feedback to the user Include a session recording capability Include scoring metrics Include a performance evaluation capability Include a carrying case that can hold all parts of the Bronchoscopy Training Devices
