Description

Special Notice: The Atlantic Oceanographic & Meteorological Laboratory (AOML)/ Physical Oceanography Division (PHOD) located in Miami, FL intends to purchase a one (1) UTS-9425M-L6 Deck Unit from Teledyne Benthos located in North Falmouth, MA. Teledyne-Benthos has been identified as the only company that can provide the supply needed that also meets the Government's intended use. To the best of the Government's knowledge there are no other vendors available who can meet the requirements needed in order to compete for this purchase. A sources sought notice was posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website https://www.fbo.gov/ on 08-08-2016 under Solicitation # NRMAD000-16-01342. The posting closed at 4:30 PM ET on 08/18/2016 with no viable responses. It is the Government's intent to award a purchase order to Teledyne-Benthos upon the closing of this notice.
