Description
PWS Request for Information FA8601-16-R-0032 This is a Request for Information (RFI). This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFIs. The purpose of this Request for Information is to seek information to better understand the factors driving the commercial market for medical laundry/hospital linen services. This RFI will be used to help determine the acquisition strategy and which sources to include. Requirements: Please see attached PWS, particularly the tables at page 12-13, and provide a quote for each line item listed in the tables, bearing in mind packaging and delivery requirements. Please answer the following questions: 1) For bulk laundry, is a tiered-pricing structure for volume applied? If so, please provide. 2) Are certain items or treatments (i.e. dry-cleaning, pressing/ironing) priced by piece? Why? 3) How do you price cubicle curtains? 4) How do you price uniform items (i.e. doctors' coats, cook's aprons)? CONTRACTOR CAPABILITY SURVEY Part I.
