Special Notice Request for Information Only The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources of the following: Item #Description___________________________________________________ JPAH-24-S1X Series,Pedestal,Attached,B/B/F,24"D,PtdDrwFrt, Stl Lkrl,Ellipse Pull JPMH-24-S1X Series,Pedestal,Mobile,B/B/F,24"D,PtdDrwFrt, Stl Lkrl,Ellipse Pull,Cstr,Stl Top JPMJ-24-S1X Series,Pedestal,Mobile,F/F,24"D,PtdDrwFrt, Stl Lkrl,Ellipse Pull,Cstr,Stl Top This item has to match these Salient Characteristics (Brand Name or Equal to Haworth): o Has to be equivalent to Haworth X Series, with an Ellipse Pull. This has to match, because it matches existing furniture. o Colors have to be equal to the following: TR-R: Beige, Grade A, and LR-BP: Chrome, Grade A. This is to match existing furniture o Has to be a 24"D in order to attach under work-surfaces, equal to the pedestal depth. o Has to have a lock that has a master keying option available. This is important for our locksmith and managing the locks/keys for over 4,500 employees. o The drawer front has to be equal to a painted front, in order to match the existing furniture. o These have to have a box drawer that includes one divider; and the file drawers include one compressor. This is important to give the user maximum organization, within the unit. o For the mobile Pedestals, these have to have steel tops. This is important for durability over the life span of the product. These also have to include four dual wheel casters, two that swivel and two that are non-swivel. This is important for flexibility within a space. If the pedestal needs to be moved, in order to provide more leg room, or to move and use as an additional work-surface, it is important for the ease of movement and not to cause injury to persons.. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements and is a certified SDVOSB or VOSB vendor may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted. Responses are due by 08/09/2016 4:00 pm EST. In accordance with FAR and VAAR Part 8, this notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88, 15 Jun 2016.
