- SCOPE OF WORK REPLACE WOOD FENCE DANVILLE NATIONAL CEMETERY, DANVILLE, ILLINOIS 61832 A.The Contractor: Shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to remove the existing wood picket fence and chain link gates at the materials storage yard and install a new metal (aluminum) privacy fence and gate per attached drawings and specifications. B.The Work: The Work shall include, but shall not be limited to the following (not necessarily in the order indicated): 1.Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to demolish the existing wood picket fence, all fence posts and footings, and chain link gate panels and remove from the cemetery. 2.Haul away & dump debris and waste at an approved disposal site or recycle if possible. 3.Layout new metal fence system along the same lines of the wood fence removed, excavate new fence post footings, 12" dia. X 3'-0" depth (minimum). Set posts in 4000 psi concrete and per manufacturer's recommendations. Fence system used as the basis for this requirement is Eclipse Privacy Fence by Ultra Aluminum Manufacturing, Inc., Model #UAP - 200, 6'-0" height. 4.Install new metal fence panel sections on the new posts. 5.Provide and install new metal gate panels to match new fence materials. All gate hardware (latches, hinges, hasps, stops, etc.) shall be provided and installed by the contractor. 7. Thoroughly clean up the work area at the end of each day's work, and at completion of the project. Leave premises clean and free of waste, scrap, used equipment, or other material intentionally or incidentally delivered to the site by Contractor or Contractor's personnel. C.Time of Completion: The project shall be completed within 45 calendar days after contract award. D.Code Compliance: All work shall be performed in accordance with the federal, state and local codes and requirements. E.Contractor Quality Control: The Job Site Superintendent will: a) review and approve submittals, b) inspect the quality of work performed, and c) certify the completed work for payment and other purposes. F.Availability/Constraints of Site: See attachments: Specification Section 010000, "General Requirements" and "Danville National Cemetery - Additional Information and Requirements." G.Submittals After Award: Submit fence specifications and color chart to verify that the fence materials proposed meet the minimum specifications as identified on the drawings. Color shall closely match the new materials storage structure at Danville National Cemetery. All submittals shall be sent to: Midwest District Engineer, 575 N. Pennsylvania Street, Suite 495, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. H.Plans/details: Partial Site Plan - Install New Metal Fence and Gate, Danville National Cemetery, Danville, Illinois. I.POC: The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for this project is: Tim Jilek. J.Project completion:The project site shall be protected and/or restored to a condition equal to that existing prior to the commencement of work. END OF SCOPE OF WORK
