- The Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS), located in Amarillo, TX, is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources capable of meeting the requirement listed below. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. NOTE: TO QUALIFY SDVOSB AND VOSB VENDORS MUST BE CERTIFIED IN THE VA VENDOR INFORMATION PAGES (VIP) DATABASE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561621. Any SDVOSB or VOSB firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this product must provide product specifications, performance and delivery information by notifying the Contract Specialist no later than 1:00 PM Central Time, August 8, 2016. Notification shall be e-mailed to Mark Branum, at mark.branum@va.gov. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Notice. Scope: Installation and interface of Viking model K2000-DVA voice dialers and Honeywell model 4204 addressable relay modules, as required to provide discrete point, reporting of panic alarm conditions to patrolling officers on duty via their issued Police Service radios utilizing a telephone extension. Place of performance is the Lubbock Outpatient Clinic, 6104 Avenue Q South Drive, Lubbock, TX 79412. Specific Tasks. Task 1 - Accurately Re-program Existing Panic System: Re-program existing panic system to include accurate room and/or area descriptors in the display keypad. Task 2 - Installation of Voice Alarm Equipment: Installation and programming of (5) Viking model K-2000-DVA voice alarm dialers for discrete annunciation of panic areas or room locations. Task 3 - Installation and Wiring of Interface Equipment: Installation and programming of (9) Honeywell model 4204 addressable relay boards, interfacing equipment as required to allow the existing panic system to communicate with the voice alarm equipment. Task 4 - Interconnection with PBX: Interconnection of the Viking voice alarm dialing equipment with the existing LOPC private branch exchange, (PBX).
