- RFI Market Survey RFI - W56KGY16R0051 This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought. This is a Sources Sought (SS)/Request for Information (RFI), market survey is for information, to be used for preliminary planning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10, "Market Research". No proposals are being requested or accepted with this RFI. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS RFI. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) has been tasked to identify potential sources for an effort that requires these sources to have the technical capability and necessary resources to provide technical support for performance and field testing, vendor hardware/software resets, system troubleshooting, engineering analyses, technology insertion, and capabilities assessments in support of the U.S. Army's Tactical Operations (TACOP) Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) and Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) Program of Record (POR). The Period of Performance is 5 years. In addition, this effort will require the following services: Quick Reaction Capability Sustainment Subject Matter Expertise Support EMARSS Sustainment, Integration and Test The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this RFI. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this RFI or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications available in the market of potential sources. The Government wants to ensure that there is adequate competition before determining the type of solicitation to be issued. Interested Offerors shall respond to this RFI no later than 12:00pmEST on 15 August 2016. In addition, any questions, comments and feedback shall ONLY be on the work scope listed within this Source Sought Announcement/RFI. All interested contractors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
