Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Mobile MRI/MRA/CT Services for the Federal Correctional Institution McKean located in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania. A firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract will result from this solicitation. The requirement for these services will consist of an estimated two clinics (1 CT Clinic and 1 MRI/MRA Clinic) every quarter. Each clinic will consist of between 8 and 10The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Mobile MRI/MRA/CT Services for the Federal Correctional Institution McKean located in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania. A firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract will result from this solicitation. Scheduled service days will be between Monday and Friday excluding Federal holidays. A mutually agreed upon schedule between the contractor and Contracting Officer's Representative will be determined following award of a contract. The contract period shall be from the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months with four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about August 2, 2016 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.sam.gov under the NAICS code for this solicitation. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site.
