Description
All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice to a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334516. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified business sources technically capable of providing the following: Water, Amplification Grade, 6,250ul (5 X 1,250ul) Water, Amplification Grade, 6,250ul (5 X 1,250ul) Swab Solution(TM) Kit Quantify total human and human male DNA over a wide dynamic range (at least 0.0032ng - 50ng). Compatible with the Applied Bio Systems 7500 real time PCR quantification instrument. Must have an internal positive control for the detection of PCR inhibitors. Contains an internal PCR control to test false-negative results that may occur in the presence of PCR inhibitors and melt curve function to confirm that the correct product was amplified. Optimized for use on the Applied Bio Systems 7500 and 7500 Fast real-time PCR systems, which USACIL employees for DNA analysis. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The Capability statements shall not exceed ten (10) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Familiarity and knowledge of weapons safe. Responses are due no later than 0800hrs EST, Monday, 01 August 2016, and shall be electronically submitted to martina.c.bond.civ@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
