This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest in seeking: Small Businesses (SB); VA certified Service Disabled Veteran owned Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) small business concerns. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Your responses will be due by Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 4:00PM (EST) to the point of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs, herein afterwards referred to as VISN 6, to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) on schedule General Services Administration (GSA)/ Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) for Quality Control (QC) Products/Supplies with a comprehensive external quality control assessment program. The Government will award a BPA to a single Contractor. Scope of Work - VISN 6 requires quality control materials and a comprehensive peer group program with data management capabilities that will meet the current standards and/or regulations of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Joint Commission (TJC).
