Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETATIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation will be issued. The Department of Veteran's Affairs VISN 18, Network Contracting Office, intends to award a sole-source, procurement to Roche Diagnostics for service support and preventive maintenance for one (1) Benchmark Ultra Slide Stainer for a base year and four (4) Option Years. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) 1 per FAR 6.302-1(c). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the Phoenix VA Health Care System at Carl T. Hayden Hospital. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 811219. Medical Laboratories with a small business size standard of $32.5 million. This notice is not a request for quotations. Responses are due: 12:00 PM EST, 9 August 2016 and are to be submitted via email to: michele.lodge@va.gov.
