- Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis Solicitation Number: FA8307-16-R-0227 Title: Repair of CP-5 Detectors OEM: Canberra Industries, Inc. CAGE Code: 24114 NAICS Code: 334519 Classification Code: 5895 AFLCMC/HNCK Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Branch Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland TX, is seeking vendors who have the capability to provide repairs to the Cryo-Pulse 5 (CP-5) Detectors: 1. Repair of CP-5 GC9022, Serial Numbers: 10459 & 3988, DETSERV 2 service to inspect and repair, Qty: 2 2. Repair of CP-5 GC9022, Serial Number: 10482, DETSERV 3 service to inspect and repair, Qty: 1 3. COAX FET for Serial Number: 10459, Qty: 1 The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Canberra Industries, Inc. The CP-5 Detector was developed, and manufactured solely by Canberra Industries, Inc., they own all proprietary rights. The CP-5 Detector has been evaluated and approved through the Air Force Technical Applications Program Configuration Control Board. Potential vendors for this effort would have to have an agreement with the OEM, Canberra Industries, Inc. to ensure they can meet specifications and the appropriate Air Force approvals. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within five (5) days of this publication at elizabeth.arzola@us.af.mil. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small disadvantaged, 8 (a) or woman owned business and whether they are located in the U.S. or foreign owned. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman (Apr 2014), will be included in this acquisition's solicitation and contract. The AFLCMC Ombudsman can be contacted at: (Primary) Lt Col Kenneth L.
