Description

The Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego “ Seal Beach Detachment (FLCSD) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of Industry to participate in a competitive acquisition for the operation of mess services for three Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) galleys. The galleys which require services are NBVC dining facilities located at Port Hueneme 32nd Street Bldg 61, Port Hueneme, Ca 93043; Point Mugu 311 Main Rd Bldg 20, Point Mugu, Ca 93041 and San Nicolas Island 521 9th Street, Bldg 65, Point Mugu, Ca 93042 This requirement may be solicited via NECO/FedBizOps. FLCSD anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the required services to commence no later than 1 October 2016. The period of performance is anticipated to be one base year with four potential option years for the Port Hueneme Point Mugu locations and one base year with one potential option year for the San Nicolas Island location. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 332721, The small business size is yet to be determined, however HubZone participation is anticipated. The purpose of this notice is to gather information about available small businesses to that can aptly address NBVC ™s requirements. In response to this sources sought synopsis, provide, via EMAIL ONLY, your CAGE code in your submitted information, along with a point of contact, and whether your company is large, small, disabled vet, woman owned, SDB, or hub zone. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability and adequacy of potential competitive sources prior to issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested sources submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 2 pages in length, 12-point font minimum) addressing capabilities in technical areas. Capabilities shall include a clear demonstration of successful performance in similar service areas as well as the contractor ™s resources in cleared personnel, support equipment, and intellectual property, if applicable. A draft statement of work is attached. Interested parties should submit above information in electronic Microsoft Word or PDF format to the contract specialist via email to: melissa.ferri@navy.mil with the subject header œNBVC Mess Hall Sources Sought Response: (Contractor Name Here). Submissions must be received no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Friday, July 29th, 2016.
