- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in South Africa will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. This solicitation is for the procurement of 19 new vehicles for use by the US Embassy or US Consulates throughout South Africa. These vehicles MUST be right-hand drive meet minimum specifications called out in the solicitation. A portion of these vehicles require custom cabinetry and this will be called out in the solicitation. Note: Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulations provision 5.207, the chosen vendor(s) must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). All offerors are encouraged to register with SAM prior to the submittal of quotations / proposals. Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses.
