Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Groton Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Pitney-Bowes the purchase of new postal equipment, which includes meter-head hardware rental and internet service in support of NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk mail processing sites located in the Northeast areas. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(1), only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The anticipated award date is 28 July 16. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within two days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. Please direct all questions regarding this requirement via e-mail to the POC identified in this special notice.
