Description

CADD Solis VIP System Special Notice under Solicitation: W81K02-16-T-0182 Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific, Health Contracting Cell, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Lacey WA intends to issue a sole source award to Smith's Medical ASD, in the amount of: $59,100.00 to purchase CADD Solis ® VIP patient portable homecare chemotherapy medication pumps and equipment accessories for Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma WA to be utilized in patient Oncology Treatments. These pumps are manufactured by Smith's Medical, and offer distributors the availability to establish sales of the equipment to the medical community, however the distribution of the software & licensing, configuration of the units establishing of the Library Drug Databases during installation, staff training, future upgrades and support is strictly provided to the customer by the manufacturer in the initial sales of the pumps as stated in Smith's Medical ASD letter, and these rights are not provided to their distributors. They remain the sole rights of Smith's Medical ASD. This notice is NOT a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies, services or equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
